Never sat behind the wheel? We start from the very basics, at your pace.
Everyone starts somewhere — and with Go Green Driving School, starting from scratch is nothing to worry about. If you’ve never sat in the driving seat before, we’ll walk you through the cockpit drill, the controls and moving off gently, all at a pace that feels comfortable.
What complete beginner lessons cover
- Getting to know the car — controls, mirrors and cockpit drill
- Moving off, stopping and clutch control (or smooth control in an automatic)
- Steering, positioning and dealing with junctions
- Roundabouts, crossings and building road awareness
- Manoeuvres: parallel parking, bay parking and turning in the road
- Independent driving and building up to test standard
Nervous first-timers are especially welcome — many of our learners were terrified before their first lesson and passed first time. You choose manual or automatic, and every lesson is tailored to how quickly you’re progressing.
